The now extended Wistow Rural Centre provides variety of shops in pleasant rural setting. The 18th century walled garden to Wistow Hall and fine Listed vinery has been used as a Plant Nursery for several decades and now houses the Ken Bailey Garden Centre at Wistow and the fun of the Model Village. The Wistow Rural Centre features various retail outlets Jocalia Handbags & Accessories, Pet Accessories, The Porcupine Oak & Furniture, Cafe Bistro, Outerspace, Outdoor Living, Mediterranean Deli and Farm Shop, Ken Bailey Garden Centre, Akido Women's and Children's Boutique, Wistow Gallery.

There is a good car park near the Artshed

 

The Ken Bailey Garden Centre at Wistow specialising in house plants, shrubs, hardy perennials, trees, garden accessories, terracotta glazed pots etc. etc.!

 

 

The Wistow Gallery - displays and sells the creative talents of Leicestershire & Rutland artists, makers & designers including ceramics, wood, glass, sculpture, textiles, jewellery, paper crafts & cards, framed art, prints & photography and they also run programmes of creative workshops.

Wistow Rural Centre's Jocalia has "Gifts for All" in the way of stunning and unusual jewellery, shawls, scarves, small leather goods, handbags, curios and gifts galore etc.

The Mediterranean Deli & Farm Shop, the Olive Tree Company now branch out from olives, baklava and Turkish delight into a Mediterranean Deli and Farm Shop to include salami, cheeses and fresh produce, a wide selection of olives freshly marinated in Welland Valley rapeseed oil and fresh herbs, seasoning and spices, queen olives, kalamata, stuffed olives, choice of flavours; garlic, chilli flakes, basil, oregano, pesto or plain, stuffed vine leaves, sun-dried tomatoes with Italian cheese, grilled artichokes, grilled peppers, grilled aubergines, Turkish delight, homemade Baklava, free range eggs, milk, yogurt, butter and cream, local Leicester honey, Turkish cheese, Sparkenhoe cheeses, feta, salami, figs and dates, Sandra’s Jam, Lucy’s foods, locally sourced fruit and vegetables, locally baked bread’s, olive, sun-dried tomato and Ciabattas and a great selection of pickles, preserves and sauces.

 

	Outerspace at Wistow sells all sorts of unique items ranging from candle holders, sets of garden furniture, water features, oil burners, zinc pots, bird feeders etc. etc. quite a collection of all sorts of things!

Akido at Wistow sell a beautiful and 'selected' range of children's clothing and toys, together with a stunning range of clothing for women.

The Porcupine Company Ltd of Wistow, sell an array of traditional, rustic and modern furniture for all your home needs made from most hardwoods and pine. A made to measure and colour matching service available. There is a large selection of gifts and cards for all the family and they off a free local delivery service. We loved the cushions!

The Wistow Rural Centre Cafe Bistro offers home cooked food locally sourced ingredients.
